Kids Sewing Class: Custom Pillowcase Project

Perfect for beginner sewists! In this fun, hands-on class, students will learn the basics of sewing while creating their very own custom pillowcase to take home.

All sewing machines will come pre-threaded and ready to use. We will also provide a brief demonstration on how to thread a sewing machine and review basic sewing machine safety.

What to Bring:

• 1 yard of fabric

• Matching thread

For best results, we recommend a cotton fabric such as quilting cotton. Cotton fabrics are beginner-friendly, easy to sew, and help students focus on learning basic sewing techniques.

By the end of class, each student will leave with a completed custom pillowcase and the confidence to continue their sewing journey.
