Beginner Sewing Class: Laptop Case

Learn the basics of sewing while creating your very own laptop case! This beginner-friendly class is designed for students who are new to sewing or looking to build confidence at the sewing machine. You'll learn essential sewing techniques as you construct a simple, functional laptop case with a Velcro closure. Everyone will make the same standard-size laptop case during class.

Skill Level: Beginner (No prior sewing experience required.)

Students Will Learn:

• Basic sewing machine operation
• How to cut fabric accurately
• Sewing straight seams
• How to attach a Velcro closure
• Basic pressing and finishing techniques

Supplies Needed:

• 1 yard of cotton (medium weight) 
• Matching all-purpose thread
• 1 package of sew-on Velcro (hook-and-loop tape)
